Who we are and what we do

Meet Captain Jay, with over 30 years of fishing charter experience and lifelong love for sport fishing.

Fishing with us is all about getting back to nature and having fun. Come out with us to experience this for yourself! Taymo Charters will include rods, reels, tackle, and lures on all trips. There will be a first mate to help you reel in your catch, and they will also clean and fillet your catch once the trip is over. For your convenience, Taymo Charters are child-friendly.

“JAY was terrific teaching these boys and now we have a confirmed fisherman.”

After a long wait BANG Jansen’s line and “Grandma it is a big one   BIGGER than yours”.  He learned to work the rod and did most of it himself 21 pounder He was just happy to beat Grandma.  JAY was terrific teaching these boys and now we have a confirmed fisherman. Grandma is an experienced fisherwoman from Northern Ontario so found the boat quite suitable and totally what was expected.

“It felt like we were on the water with old friends”

We enjoyed a wonderful afternoon/evening of fishing, eating and drinking. Captain Jay was a great host and attended to our every need. His first mate, Brandon, did everything humanly possible to ensure that we caught large some fish which we certainly did. They were both very personable. It felt like we were on the water with old friends. The time flew by. Thank you Captain Jay and Brandon. See you again.
